Save the Children is currently looking for a Director, Research and Evidence to join their London office. This is a new senior leadership role to ensure a step change in the rigour, relevance, and strategic direction of their global evidence base, to fully leverage a $2bn international programming portfolio (across 120 countries), to ensure their ambitions for children, and become a knowledge leader on what works for children.
They seek someone with:
- Extensive experience in applied implementation of data and evaluation systems to improve frontline practice in the development/humanitarian context.
- Extensive skills and experience in designing, managing and communicating quantitative and mixed method research and evaluation, using rigorous designs
- Demonstrable experience in the areas of research and evidence strategy development and implementation
- Proven leadership abilities, with the ability to mobilise and motivate individuals outside of your reporting line in a highly matrixed and federated environment
